Jason, and Justin, the Bona Roma "family" are serious about Italian cooking. They are constantly testing, tweaking and improving their recipes and menus based upon your wishes and suggestions. Not content to own the finest of Calgary Italian restaurants, when you demand a location in the south, the family took their world-class cooking to their South side location in May of 1998. But a lot happened between the launch of those two locations.

Then you started to spread the word that the finest pastas, pizza sauce and the best crust in all the land could be found only at these select Calgary Italian restaurants, the phone began to ring off the hook. Not only were you standing in line to dine in, but you wanted good "Bona Roma" food delivered hot to your door. And that's when the "Pizza truck" was born.

Bona Roma is not your ordinary Italian restaurant. Jason and Justin are not your ordinary pizza delivery guys. For your large party and catering functions, at your service is a Bona Roma Mobile Pizza Kitchen which comes fully equipped with a complete regular pizza kitchen inside! The phrase "delivered fresh out of the oven and piping hot to your door" doesn't quite ring true if you order from any other Calgary Italian restaurants. You only make that claim with Bona Roma!

Bona Roma is unique among Calgary Italian restaurants. Because your menu is based on what you want and not what the owners think that they want. As a result of their intense listening skills, the North side location features mostly pizza, while its sister location to the South has a focus on pasta. Not to worry though. Either location will be pleased to make you almost anything that appears on the other's menu. All you have to do is ask.
